According to officials of Speedflow Communications, a provider of VoIP software solutions, their new Mediacore product release has, "significant alterations in billing and routing algorithms."
The existing Guardian functions and program Web-interface "have been amended," company officials say, adding that, "the new reports provide users with various data analysis and objective information about customers and completed calls."
The installation is done "according to the arranged schedule of updates for our partners," Mediacore officials say: "The core modules are set by scripts and additional ones are configured manually by the Speedflow system administrator."
This is done to allow full command over the installation process and data security during all the stages, they explain.
In addition, company officials said the system release will be focused both on transit operators and on the companies which offer VoIP services for end-users.
This combines functions of class 4 and 5 softswitches. "Together with smart VoIP traffic routing functions, the system will have a broad set of services for retail operators," company officials say: "For instance, they support a customer Web room with broadened settings options for end-users, such as balance check, invoice managing and IVR options settings."
It also offers the possibility of the subscriber’s account management from mobile devices. The system's Web interface is based on the technology ICE faces.
Vlad Ellis, director of Speedflow, says the firm has,"a serious task: To combine two products oriented into different business tasks on one platform. Though officially the testing hasn’t been completed yet, several our customers have already installed the system and use it successfully."
Ellis said the system has new features for serving end-users and noted that research has found, "the majority of transit operators are interested in expanding their business by offering services to end users.”
“We are sure that softswitch Mediacore has good prospects on the market."
